USS Bunker Hill (CG-52) was a Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser commissioned in 1986 and notable as the first U.S. Navy cruiser equipped with the Mk 41 Vertical Launch System. Armed with the Aegis combat system, Tomahawk cruise missiles and Standard surface-to-air missiles, she served in the Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Storm, deployed extensively throughout the Pacific and Indian Oceans, and remained in frontline service until her decommissioning in 2023.
