Soviet Army T-80BV Main Battle Tank.
Soviet main battle tank introduced in the 1980s as a development of the earlier T-80. It is distinguished by the addition of explosive reactive armour (ERA) to improve protection against anti-tank weapons. Powered by a gas-turbine engine, it is armed with a 125 mm smoothbore gun and operated by a crew of three using an autoloader. The tank was intended for front-line armoured units during the later Cold War and remains in service with several armed forces.
