Japanese Zero Model 21 “Rabaul Naval Aviation Corps” Carrier Fighter.

The Type 0 Model 21 (A6M2 Zero) was an early carrier-based fighter introduced by the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) in 1940. It played a major role in Japan's early Pacific War operations and became one of the most famous fighter aircraft of the Second World War.
Rabaul on the South Pacific island of New Britain was captured by the Japanese in early 1942 and became the IJN's principal forward air base in the region. The fighter component at Rabaul was predominantly equipped with Zeros.

The kit: Assemble with canopy open or closed. Build with wingtips folded or extended. Paint mask for canopy & propeller included. Choice of 4 markings.
