Northrop NF-5A 'Türk Yıldızları' (Turkish Stars) Aerobatic Team.
The Turkish Stars (Türk Yıldızları) aerobatic display team has operated the Northrop NF-5A 2000 Freedom Fighter as their primary demonstration aircraft since the team's formation in 1992. Originally sourced from the Royal Netherlands Air Force, these lightweight supersonic fighters were modified for aerobatic use by removing internal weaponry and installing integrated smoke-generation systems. While the NF-5 has largely been phased out of frontline combat roles, the Turkish Air Force continues to maintain a fleet of these agile aircraft for national and international air displays.
