German heavy tank introduced in 1942, one of Nazi Germany’s most iconic heavy tanks during WWII. Armed with the powerful 8.8 cm KwK 36 L/56 gun with ability to knock out Allied tanks at long range. Tiger I was deployed on all major fronts, including North Africa, the Eastern Front, and Western Europe. A formidable opponent for Allied forces, but mechanically complex and costly to produce.
