German Army SdKfz 9 18t Heavy Half-Track Artillery Version.
The SdKfz 9, also known as the FAMO, was the largest and most powerful half-track vehicle produced by Germany during World War II. Designed to tow heavy artillery, disabled tanks, and other equipment, it was an essential part of German military logistics. Development of the vehicle began in 1936 by the Fahrzeug- und Motorenbau GmbH (FAMO) company, with full-scale production of the F3 variant starting in 1939. Powered by a 250 hp Maybach HL108 TUKRM petrol engine, the SdKfz 9 could handle demanding off-road conditions and heavy loads. Several variants were developed for recovery, engineering, and other specialised roles.
