The ATF Dingo 2 is a German-built All-protected Transport Vehicle (Allschutz-Transport-Fahrzeug – ATF) which entered service in 2004. Developed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, it is designed for patrol and surveillance in hostile environments and combines high mobility with mine and ballistic protection. The “Recce” (Optelectronic) variant is equipped with advanced sensors, cameras, and communication systems for battlefield reconnaissance and target acquisition. Used in NATO and UN missions across Afghanistan, Mali, and Kosovo.
