The SLT 50-3 "Elefant" is a German heavy-duty tractor unit developed to transport the Leopard 2 main battle tank and other heavy military vehicles. Introduced in the late 1990s, it has a crew of two and is paired with the SaAnh (SattelAnhanger) 52-ton semi-trailer, produced by Kässbohrer under licence from Krupp. The tractor features 8×8 all-wheel drive, V12 diesel engine, and hydraulic winches.
