US Air Force Fairchild C-123J Provider Military Transport Aircraft.
The Fairchild C-123 Provider was an American military transport aircraft developed after the Second World War and produced by the Fairchild Aircraft Corporation. It entered service with the US Air Force in 1955. In addition to the US Air Force, it was also operated by the Coast Guard and by the Federal Aviation Administration in Alaska. Fairchild J44 engines were installed on the wingtips, and ski kits fitted to the landing gear for use in Arctic conditions; this variant was designated the C-123J. The Alaska Air National Guard used the C-123J to patrol Arctic territory and to deliver supplies and equipment to remote weather station personnel.
