German Army Borgward B3000 Medium-Duty Truck.
The Borgward B3000 was a family of standardised 3-ton trucks produced by the German manufacturer Carl F.W. Borgward GmbH for use in the Wehrmacht supply system. Widely employed from the Balkan campaign of 1941 onwards, the B3000 supported logistics across multiple theatres of operation, including the North African and Eastern Fronts. Luftwaffe units also used it for airfield support and towing duties, adding to its versatility across different services. By 1944, approximately 30,000 had been built, reflecting its importance in sustaining German military logistics during the war. The Borgward B3000 complemented vehicles such as the Opel Blitz and the Mercedes L3000, forming part of the Wehrmacht’s standard fleet of medium transport vehicles in motorised convoys.
