Graham Farish N Scale Diesel & Electric Locomotives

Graham Farish N Scale Diesel & Electric Locomotives

The award-winning Graham Farish range of Diesel and Electric locomotives covers over 70 years of development from the early GWR Railcars, through the ‘Deltic’ prototype of 1955 and the pioneering classes developed subsequently, including the Class 20s, 37s and 40s, right up to the very latest Class 70s and Class 450s.

Taking pride of place on the front cover of this year’s catalogue is one of the Western Region’s modified 6-car Blue Pullmans in its distinctive grey and blue livery as applied from 1967 until their withdrawal in 1973. On transfer to the Western Region they supplemented the existing eight-car sets that were running the Birmingham Pullman, the Bristol Pullman and the South Wales Pullman, so if you want a luxurious express for your layout, there can be no finer!

We continually review our models to ensure we continue to meet – and indeed exceed – our customer’s expectations. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce an upgrade of three popular locomotive classes in our range: the Class 31; Class 47; and Class 158. Following the universal acclaim our Class 40 and 108, and the Castle Class DCC sound releases have received, the Class 31s and 47s will benefit from the inclusion of DCC Sound provision and additional options will be incorporated to allow us to accurately portray the 47/7 and 47/8 sub-classes.

Benefitting from the extensive development work undertaken on our OO Class 158, its smaller N scale brother will be completely re-tooled to include DCC sound provision, cab interior and exterior lighting, together with additional tooling options for future developments. Also benefitting from our wider research and development work is the Class 350. We are pleased to include the Class 450 3rd-rail variant of the Class 350, as used by South West Trains in this year’s range, along with the TransPennine Express liveried Class 350.
