Stanier Moguls from Bachmann Branchline
18/01/2016

New in at Bachmann HQ are engineering samples for the LMS Stanier Moguls in OO scale. The Moguls were the first of Staniers designs for the LMS following his move from the GWR and the design reflects GWR practices. A Mixed traffic type, this class was based on the previous Fowler "Crab" locos.

Castle Class featuring Next18 decoder from Graham Farish

The team at Bachmann HQ are delighted to reveal an image of the N scale Castle Class locomotive engineering sample. The locomotives were found on express passenger duties on all Great Western main lines, from their introduction in 1923 until the first withdrawal in 1958.

We are pleased to introduce the livery samples for the N scale Class 64xx 0-6-0 Pannier Tanks from Graham Farish. These locomotives were introduced in 1932 by Charles Collett and could be found on most parts of the GWR system.

Wickham Trolley Update from Bachmann Branchline

As revealed at the recent Warley Model Railway Show we are pleased to present the livery samples for the Wickham Trolley Cars in OO scale. The Wickham Trolley was introduced in 1948 and was a railway engineering personnel carrier. They were supplied to many countries in narrow, standard and broad gauges.

Bachmann attends Class 158 naming ceremony
25/11/2015

As part of the on-going project to develop a brand new Class 158 DMU model for the Bachmann Branchline OO scale range, representatives from Bachmann Europe Plc were invited to attend the naming of Class 158 No. 158773 by East Midlands Trains on Wednesday 28th October 2015. The unit was named 'Eastcroft Depot' after EMT's Nottingham Eastcroft Light Maintenance Depot which is adjacent to Nottingham railway station.
