Princess Coronation Class From Graham Farish

The first engineering sample is now available for the N Scale Princess Coronation Class. The non-streamlined locomotives were often referred to as Duchesses, though to enginemen they were often known as Big Lizzies. The models feature a de-streamlined body & tender with smoke deflectors, detailed cab, electrical pickup on driving and tender wheels and NEM 6 pin decoder socket in the tender. Two of the models are based on preserved locomotives.

The Great Western Railway built shunting trucks to allow shunters to ride on the running boards around shunting yards, a quicker and safer option than walking or riding locomotive footsteps. Model features include M3 and M4 types, BR and GWR lamp irons and upright and sloping handrail types.
