J & N Models of Unit MU5 New Market Hall Louth Lincolnshire LN11 9PY
Neil and Jill Gladwin (from whom J&N Models gets its name) was started in 2004.
Neil decided to use his enthusiasm and knowledge to open J&N Models. Offering Model Railway items such as Woodland Scenic and Graham Farish to visitors to the store.
J&N models have been a Bachmann customer since the store opened in October of 2004. From the start they have aimed to provide their customers with a broad selection of items from all scales of the Model railway scene. "By doing this we have gained a good reputation for supplying items that modellers cannot obtain from other stores" said Neil. J&N stock all products from the Bachmann Portfolio including Ott-Lite and Liliput. J&N stocks are 100% railways and accessories. "We like to do a good job with a single product category rather than a bad job of several" said Jill.
Since opening, J&N have developed their G scale business. "Aristocraft track and Spectrum large scale items have been selling very well" said Jill. "We are waiting for the launch of the Aristocraft class 66 to get more UK modellers interested in G scale" They have even personally delivered this large scale railway system to a local customer.
"By keeping good stocks of all ranges we are usually able to satisfy any customer that walks through the door, or order it from a supplier if we should not have the exact item available" said Neil. "We pride ourselves on good service with a smile"
Second hand collections are brought and sold so there is always something new available to visitors every time you visit.
Congratulations to Jill and Neil. They would be delighted to meet you if you are in the area or visit their website at www.j-n-models.co.uk
