Ian Allan Birmingham store has been awarded the accolade of Bachmann Europe Plc Retailer of the year. This well established city centre store has recently moved to larger premises at 12 Ethel Street, within sight of the previous store. The new store carries an enlarged range of books, DVDs, model railways, and plastic kits covering a great many transport and military related subjects. A must visit destination for all Rail fans who travel to Birmingham.

David Haarhaus said "We have presented this award to Andy and his team in recognition of their hard work and dedication in raising the profile of Bachmann products across the board in recent years. From an initial compact Branchline range, they have successfully grown the business to encompass Graham Farish, Scenecraft, Liliput, Bachmann USA and Woodland Scenics. It is great to see Models and Hobby products thriving in this busy city centre".

We have been very pleased with the response from customers since we have increased our Bachmann range. Our close proximity to Birmingham New Street station has no doubt been a key factor, as many rail fans pass through here when visiting the station. We are literally only 3 or 4 minutes walk from the platforms. I doubt you will find a more comprehensive selection of Railway books, DVD's and models in any other city".
